The Buckhead Project

Had a great meeting with the owners of a restaurant here in Atlanta - very cool people. The conversation was about the possibility of me writing/producing a pilot for a reality show in or about their restaurant. The goal, of course, is to also get it picked up by a network.

Normally, I'd have had ideas flowing out of me in the meeting or at least shortly after leaving. This time it took me almost three full days to finally hit on something. There were other ideas, but the best one (in my opinion) came after about three days. Until the pitch meeting, we have dubbed this The Buckhead Project. For my Atlanta friends, you'll have to wait until afterward to find out which restaurant we're working with.

I've run it past the rest of the gang and we have consensus on the idea. This will be a blast to work on if the restaurant signs off on this. Should be fun to watch as well. Season one would be shot totally in Atlanta so going to "work" would be a commute from the burbs down to Buckhead...I'll take that.

Here's to a successful pitch meeting...
